Imagine a game where everything is possible. Where the setting is as real as your own backyard, in a system that has literally thousands of creation combinations and ultimate freedom to let your imagination loose. Let that sink in for a moment, because that game is Contamination.
We call it 'Open World' gaming and it's what Contamination is all about. It's not a new idea though. The concept of 'Open World' or 'Sandbox' gaming has been hot in the world of computer and console games for a while. In Contamination this starts with our perk and flaw system during crew creation, the lack of limitation as to how you can use your crews actions, and the realism of the world setting. Contamination is a different breed of tabletop game and its time you experienced it for yourself.
OPEN WORLD
'The legendary 'Urban Waste' could be anywhere, in any city in the world so where will you set yours? In Open World the game belongs to you. Explore the abandoned shopping malls, schools, prisons, hotels, and more. The 'Urban Waste Proper' is the perfect place to start your adventures at first but what lies beyond? Contamination allows you to mod your games and let your imagination run riot in an ever expanding setting.
HUNDREDS OF OPTIONS
There are 1,296 different combinations to your crew's character with the Perk and Flaw system. Choose something that reflects your desired theme or let the dice decide for you and learn their story as you play. A multitude of weapons and items gives you even greater diversity. Will you be lead by local celebrities, forever looking for a lost loved one, or suffer from bouts of kleptomaniacy?
MOD YOUR OWN ITEMS
Not content with the options available? Create something new! Now there really is a weapon for every occasion no matter the setting. The modding generator allows you to create almost anything you can imagine and generate the price tag to go with. So if you find yourself itching for some explosive rounds, or simply need an enhanced flash-bang to disorientate your opponents, it's only your imagination that can hold you back.
SOLO TO MULTIPLAYER
No matter the number of your gaming friends or whether you haven't met any friendly dice fellows, solo-play or multiplayer offer a wealth of ways to enjoy the whole gaming experience. Purge a section of The Urban Waste and call it your home, engage in a turf war between your friends, or mix the two to your hearts content.
